60. Eurovision Song Contest – Vienna (Austria)
-
Once more the time is right.
One year has passed since CONCHITA WURST has won the contest absolutely well-deserved and brought the 60. Eurovision Song Contest to beautiful Austria.
Every year we have the same question. Who or even which country will take the biggest European music prize home? Wait for it… EUROPEAN?
For the first time part of the game… AUSTRALIA! Yes, read in the right way. Long time they have begged, Down-Under – one of the countries with the most and enthusiastic fans all around the world. What would it be if even this country at the other end of the world… okay, here we can only speculate.
To cut a long story short, for sure I have spent some time in hearing, hopefully, all titles from all countries being part of the contest this year. Before I allow everybody his own opinion you can find here my little list of tops and flops, unimportant contributions and others:

For me it will be no wonder, if AUSTRALIA will will. The song is fresh and not that european style. Lots of all songs sound very homemade ( that doesn´t matter, but its like you hear in radio and see in the charts on all radio stations)

Party live in Hamburg
-
I was nearly a bit amused about an article I have found recently in the internet.
There is a 22 years old woman (YES, TWENTY-TWO!!!) writing about the dismal, nearly awkward
party life in the Hanseatic City Hamburg.
I have to admit, in spite of her high age – she isn’t that wrong. For my share I always expire this
when I am visiting the Reeperbahn. If the weather would fit meanwhile you could avoid every trip to
Mallorca! Everywhere only the usual radio-music (including “I fuck your mother in her knee ‘til she
gives me what I want, yo bro” black music) or beat music.Where has the time left when Hamburg was celebrated as THE stronghold of good House-Music
(and music in general), all the brilliant clubs with the great and talented DJs which became popular
also outside of the city walls and are celebrating successes all over the world now (for example:
Palladium, Pleasuredome, Front...)?I have to agree. It has become boring in our beautiful city. A lot of clubs a bit outside are losing this
game. They have to close their doors or they follow the masses.
Sure there is still the one or the other event which is it worth to be visited but mostly there is no
more space for “good” club visitors.I have to admit that my friends of the UNISCENE are still fighting. They have recognized that “doors-
open-music-on-might-be-fitting” is not enough to celebrate a good party. Here is still taken care of
the guests and their opinion is always heard and welcome. So it came as it had to come – shortly a long-established club – the CHINA LOUNGE – has closed the
doors. Now we will have to wait how long it takes until a “Cowboy & Indianer” or another “Alm” will
be opened to satisfy all the bachelor-parties.Well, I expect at this corner there is still missing a junk-food restaurant.
At least I have to say that if I want to listen to good music in future I will visit the THAI OASE (localized
at the end of “Große Freiheit”) and sing all night long by myself.
On this note – let’s rock! ;-)
And as always i would like to discuss with you on my FACEBOOK FANPAGE

“Schlager”move in Hamburg
-
It is "Schlagermove" on the Saturday 28.6.14 in Hamburg... And how each year 100 thousands of people will celebrate between Reeperbahn and Landungsbrücken.
For over 10 years, is the self-declared "Carnival of the North" in the Hanseatic City at home and which celebrates every year on the new.
Bellbottom pants, funky flowers, sunglasses - absolute MUST HAVE on this day. Also if it otherwise throughout the year in a suit or dress through life. And at latest since Helene Fischer (german singer) phenomenon not only the hardcore will run also sure this "Breathless" by day and night. One of sing along, on the other hand by the copious alcohol consumption in broad daylight.
CHEERS!
Of course I'm going, and of course will I shout "HOSSA" when numerous monster trucks will cross the street. And of course I will say goodbye to my red dress.
And who knows Mike knows also that he is also here to have fun.
What do you think of the pop and german schlager in general and what is actually if this move would combine with former Berlins LOVEPARADE... Would you call it SCHLAGNO throughout the speakers?
Comments welcome and should someone recognize me and photograph on the streets, you may like post it on Facebook or email to me.In this sense - MUSIC MAKES THE WORLD GO ROUND (and crazy)
